Comparing Charging Management Strategies for a Charging Station in a Parking Area in North Italy

Via the analysis of a set parking and journey information for vehicles traveling to site at University Brescia (Italy), we evaluated possibility managing electric recharging these vehicles, which are hypothesized be electric. The paper investigates charging optimization techniques that can limit charge power peaks distribute energy demand throughout day. A cost assessment an auxiliary system consisting photovoltaic source (PV) battery stationary storage (BSS) is also carried out. Optimal management station with PV BSS introduced, performance two feedback controllers based on optimized results compared real-time algorithm in presence randomness requests insolation. show degradation plays primary role determining strategy adopt minimize operating expenditure station.
